The set features 6 (six) resin parts for the "a" version and 1 (one) resin part for the "b" version, plus comprehensive instructions
This project was designed by Arado Company for a high altitude reconnaissance aircraft. There were two versions for this model, the “a” and “b”. The Ar 234R “a” would consist of a regular Ar 234 frame, without jet engines, but fitted with two Walter HWK 509 rocket motors ( the same of the V-1 flying bomb) located in streamlined nacelles under the wings. The “b” version would consist in a standard Arado 234 airframe, without any engine under the wings, but fitted with a rocket motor mounted in the rear section. Therefore a cowling would have been installed in the rear fuselage underneath the rudder.
